Metro America sells lightweight adult commuter scooters for riders who regularly carry, store, or combine a scooter with a train, bus, or car. Our current lineup centers on two models with published specifications and clear tradeoffs.
What we sell today
- Metro City: $499, 27 lb, up to 20 mph, up to 18 miles of listed range, up to 700W peak motor output, and front electronic plus rear disc braking.
- Metro City Pro: $699, 29 lb, up to 20 mph, up to 25 miles of listed range with the included battery, up to 720W peak motor output, a removable-battery format, and front electronic plus rear disc braking.
Speed and range are maximum manufacturer-listed values, not guarantees. Results vary with rider weight, speed, terrain, temperature, wind, tire pressure, and battery condition.
Our focus
Portability is a real product specification, not a slogan. City and City Pro are built around lower carry weight for stairs, apartments, trunks, elevators, and mixed transit. That focus also creates tradeoffs: neither model is presented as a suspension scooter, and heavier competitors may offer higher speed, larger batteries, or higher rider limits.
We do not claim that one scooter is best for every rider. We publish current prices, listed specifications, practical limitations, shipping details, return conditions, and warranty information so shoppers can decide whether Metro fits their commute.
Our standard for product claims
We only present ratings, certifications, software features, or performance claims as verified buying benefits when the supporting records are available and apply to the exact product being sold. If a claim cannot be supported, it should not be part of the sales pitch.
